Monoprints and Beyond Workshop with Alice Galick

Saturday September 9, 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday September 10, 12:00 to 4:00pm at Falmouth Art Center.

This workshop is for artists with experience in printmaking. Explore the many possibilities of gesture marks, ink qualities, viscosity, improvisation with stencils, a variety of tools and found materials. There is an energy in the results that leads us with the spontaneity inherent to this kind of printmaking.

We will use Akua inks, a popular non toxic product that uses a plant base oil for easy clean up. Inks /brayers /glass palettes / plexiglass plates for transfer of designs and paper will be provided.
