Janell Bauer: Meet the Artist and Special Featured Artist Exhibit

Featured Artist – Janell Bauer

The Featured Artist at the Eastwind Gallery in Orleans will be Janell Bauer on August 29th thru September 3rd.  She will be working in the gallery on Saturday, Sept. 3rd.

Janell Bauer is an acrylic painter who totally enjoys her life on Cape Cod, which has led to her reverence of the ocean and exploring the wildness of its movement through her art.  She also finds meaning in the challenge of capturing people in movement and translating that to canvas.

Janell Bauer grew up in Western Massachusetts and moved to Cape Cod in 1987 to raise her family.  Janell is currently represented by Eastwind Gallery in Orleans, MA and is a juried Member of CCAC where her work has won awards.

Janell’s artwork consists of original acrylic paintings, cards, matted prints and prints mounted  on wood panels.

Eastwind Gallery is a cooperative with 14 gallery artists displaying a diverse array of artwork. The gallery is located downstairs between Watson’s Men’s Apparel & Gallant Jewelry in the heart of the

Orleans Cultural District. Enter from Main St. or Main St. Square where free parking is available behind Watson’s with a rear entrance to gallery. Gallery hours are Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to

5:00 pm.
