On Sunday, August 6 at 5PM the Great Music on Sundays @5 concert series will present “Harmonies Across Cultures -exceptional compositions by notable Latino, Black American and English composers” at the Unitarian Universalist Meeting House of Provincetown, 236 Commercial Street.
The concert guarantees a memorable experience for all music enthusiasts and those seeking new horizons, Harmonies Across Cultures offers a diverse range of musical genres and styles: John Rutter’s Antique Suite, Paquito D’Rivera’s lively Latin dance rhythms, haunting melodies by William Grant Still, the elegant classical style of Florence Price, and Samuel Coleridge Taylor’s iconic Deep River.
This concert is sponsored and presented by Red Door Chamber Music – Craig W. Combs (piano), Eric Maul (flute), Jeffrey Thurston (violin), and Monika Veress Woods (clarinet).
General admission is $25, $20 seniors, $50 limited priority seating, ages 12 & under free. All concerts are handicapped accessible.
