Fiber Group Meetup at Falmouth Art Center

Join Southeastern New England Fibershed director Amy DuFault for a talk on local fiber, local plant dyes, local manufacturing and exciting projects like wastewater farming on Saturday, March 18th at 10am.

Amy will introduce attendees to the concept of a “fibershed” which operates exactly like a foodshed, serving a geographic region producing fiber, as well as offering manufacturing and processing in a particular area. The Southeastern New England Fibershed is just one fibershed of 58 worldwide (the mothership is the Northern California Fibershed).
