Featured Artist – Patty Barnes

Eastwind Gallery presents a Featured Artist Exhibit, by Patty Barnes, from June 26th thru Saturday, July 1st. Meet with the Artist, Monday, Friday, June 30th.

Patty Barnes is an award-winning oil painter. She studied drawing, watercolor and oil painting at Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY; graduating with a BFA in Art History. Barnes earned her Masters at The University of Wisconsin. Her work has been juried Into National Shows at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, The Creative Art Center and the Cape Cod Art Center. Barnes specializes in capturing the light of Cape Cod often with a bit of whimsy. She teaches Oil Painting at the Cape Cod Museum of Art and an Introduction to Gouache Painting at The Cultural Center of Cape Cod.

Eastwind Gallery is a cooperative with 14 gallery artists displaying a diverse array of artwork. The gallery is located downstairs between Watson’s Men’s Apparel & Gallant Jewelry in the heart of the Orleans Cultural District. Enter from Main St. or Main St. Square where FREE parking is available behind Watson’s with a rear entrance to the gallery. Gallery hours until June 17th are Thursday through Saturday 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Beginning June 19, gallery hours will be Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
