NEW DATES! Explore the Magic of poetry through expressive arts on Fall early release days, with Marcie Schwartz, author of When Someone Deeply Listens to You. For children grades 1-4. Registration is required; register below for 1, 2, or all 3 programs. All programs begin at 2pm. Donations welcome.

Tuesday, September 26th – About Me Poems & Bracelets: What is poet’s paint? Do colors have feelings? What makes you special? We will explore what makes each of us unique through poetry and color.

Tuesday, October 17th – Heart Mapping: What’s inside your heart? Discover who and what you love and create a beautiful heart map. Then write original poems from what you discover inside your heart.

Tuesday, December 5th – I Am Poems & Kaleidoscopes: There are lots of things that make up the one special you. Just like a kaleidoscope, you are always changing, growing and becoming something new.

Local author Marcie Schwartz has been enchanting young children and educating their parents for the past 40 years. As a certified practitioner of poetic medicine, Marcie carries her skill and enthusiastic style into poetry circles she designs to meet the needs of diverse populations.
