Clay: Building on the Basics of the Wheel

This class features instructor Hollis Engley. This is a six week class meeting on Tuesday mornings. This class is for students with some prior clay experience. We will use all the tools and equipment at our disposal to create student-guided projects with the instructor's assistance. We will expand our wheel throwing skills and our repertoire of forms. In addition, we will explore ways to alter thrown work and use hand-building techniques to push our work forward. Fee includes 25 pounds of clay, glaze, and firing fee. A tool kit may be purchased for $12. Open studio time, scheduled at various times throughout the week, is available at no extra fee.
