All concerts are held outside, under the tent in our sculpture garden. If it rains, the concert will be held inside the Museum in our spacious exhibition gallery.

Clã da Bossa Nova started in 2013 when Rayssa Ribeiro was introduced to Tad Price. Tad had been exploring Brazilian music for a few years and Rayssa was born in Brazil. Her mother used to sing her popular Brazilian tunes when she was young and she knew them all by heart.

The full band is now composed of Susan Goldberg on bass, Peter Murray on saxophone, and Michael Dunford on drums and percussion. They have played at a variety of local live music venues for a number of years, and played at a variety of festivals and performances such as performing at the pre-show for Pop’s by the Sea, Woods Hole Film Festival, Women’s Music Festival at the Cape Playhouse, World Music, Food and Wine Festival at the Cape Cod Melody Tent, and Cape Cod Arts Foundation Concert Series hosted by TD Bank, amongst many other shows. They have also hosted Brazilian festivals at Cotuit Center for the Arts for two years! See previous performances here and here.
