Call for Singers by Woods Hole Cantata Consort for August Concert

New singers are welcome!  Director Maggie Bossi will lead weekly rehearsals, mostly on Tuesday evenings, 7-9:15, beginning on June 14.  Plan to arrive at 6:30 for your first rehearsal. The program includes selections from Mozartʹs Vespers and contemporary pieces by Paul Halley, Ola Gjello and Eric Whitacre.  Instrumentalists include a string quarter plus bass, a soprano saxophone, and Mark Lawlor on piano and organ.

Rehearsals prior to concert week will be held in the new Parish and Community Center of the Church of the Messiah, 13 Church Street, Woods Hole.  The chorus will rehearse with masks and will be responsible for required COVID-19 testing during concert week.  Masks will be required for the audience.   New and returning singers can register at their first rehearsal or contact Mary Swope, 508-548-0625 or mgswope@aol.com.  The fee for singer registration and music is $30, payable at the first rehearsal by cash or check.
