A modern retelling of an ancient Greek myth, staged on the beaches of Cape Cod.
This second production from new theatre company, Campfire Quorum, presents a modern retelling of an ancient Greek tragedy, staged on the beaches of Cape Cod.
When Philomele is raped and silenced by her brother-in-law, Tereus, she and her sister, Procne, take their violent revenge. The production’s use of fruit and fabric, movement and a marine setting transports the viewer to the lyrical play’s world of Myth -- complete with Greek chorus!
