ABOUT THE BOOK

Genevieve Austin carries a seventy-year-old secret. Does this secret shape or harm her?

In The Making of Genevieve, we learn the complexity that is Genevieve. We navigate the tumultuous road to her golden years, beginning as a teen on the picturesque shores of Newport, Rhode Island with her best friend, Nicky.

Genevieve always strives for the best of everything-the perfect home, clothes, friends, and of course, the perfect man. For Genevieve, image is paramount. What happens when Genevieve's plans are challenged and the idyllic life she dreams of is placed in peril?

Which leaves us to ask, "Does anyone really know their mother?"
