In the last concert of their 23/24 season, Giocosa Chamber Music will present TRADITION in Dennis and Chatham on April 13 and 14. The program features Giocosa's Trios 4 Four ensemble, which includes directors Heather Goodchild Wade (violin) and Elizabeth Schultze (cello) with guest pianists Steven Mann and Ray Wong.

The beloved Brahms Piano Trio #1 in B Major will make up the first half of the program, while the second half features the 4 Seasons of Buenos Aires by Argentine tango composer Astor Piazzolla.  When performed together, these two pieces represent two opposing approaches to composition; one focused on honoring the musical traditions of those who came before, and one intent on defying them and creating a new path.

Concerts take place on  April 13 at 7 pm at the Dennis Union Church in Dennis, and on April 14 at 3 pm at the First Congregational Church of Chatham.  More information can be found on the Giocosa Chamber Music website, www.giocosachambermusic.com.
