Tuesday Talks: Cathy Weston: 5 Projects to Make Your Home Landscape More Eco-Friendly

Presented by Atwood Museum and Chatham Historical Society at Atwood Museum

As awareness of our environmental challenges increases, many people want to do their part by improving the eco-friendly nature of their homes and backyards. Some people need some help getting started! Cathy Weston will be sharing 5 concrete and manageable projects that homeowners can do this Spring, with a focus on adding native plants to an existing landscape. She will provide plant recommendations and layouts for each project.

Cathy Weston has been gardening on Cape Cod for 30 years, with the last 10 focused on native plants.  She holds a Certificate in Native Plant Horticulture and Design from the Native Plant Trust, and has incorporated over 120 native species into her own Chatham landscape.  Cathy is also a Trustee of the Chatham Conservation Foundation, where she tends the mini-meadow at CCF headquarters on Main St and assists in landscape restoration projects.
