This 4-morning class invites children ages 10-12 to create their own works in clay utilizing handbuilding methods.
Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Tuesday, August 6 – Friday, August 9, from 10 am – 12 pm.
This 4-morning class invites children ages 10-12 to create their own works in clay utilizing handbuilding methods. The class makes everything from mugs to interesting, lidded boxes, figures, and ideas the students bring themselves. In our increasingly virtual world, this class gives students a true hands-on experience, from starting with a concept and lump of clay to creating, refining, painting, and glazing. Participants will need to return to the Center for their finished pieces at a later date. Tuition includes all materials and firings.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
