Highlights will include such charttoppers as “Benny and the Jets,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” and “Crocodile Rock.” But dress accordingly. You won’t stay seated for long.
CAROLYN WATSON, Conductor
Carolyn Watson has been celebrated nationally and internationally as a versatile conductor of symphonic music and opera. She is the recipient of a number of prestigious awards for young conductors, among them the Brian Stacey Award for emerging Australian conductors. As Music Director of the Interlochen Arts Academy Orchestra, Watson won the 2015 American Prize for Orchestral Performance with this ensemble, also collaborating with soloists including Mark O’Connor and Alexandre Tharaud during her tenure.
