Join vocalist Dominique Eade with pianist Tim Ray and bassist John Lockwood for a memorable afternoon of jazz in the intimate setting of historic West Falmouth Library.
Dominique Eade is one of the most dynamic and influential jazz vocalists and jazz educators of the past quarter-century. Her daring yet technically precise and emotionally coherent explorations of familiar songs, and her own poetic originals, both honor and expand the jazz vocal tradition. In over 20 years teaching at NEC (New England Conservatory) in Boston, she has helped shape the careers of Luciana Souza, Aoife O’Donovan, Rachel Price and many others.
Prepare for an extraordinary musical experience as Dominique’s mesmerizing vocals, the masterful piano artistry of Falmouth favorite Tim Ray, and the rhythmic genius of bassist John Lockwood come together in historic West Falmouth Library. This powerhouse trio promises to deliver an unforgettable performance.
Concert is co-sponsored by West Falmouth Library.
