Born and raised in Falmouth, Bonnie (Wright) Papineau grew up with a pen in her hand and a love for nature and birds. Bonnie spent most of her childhood weekends exploring the woods of North Falmouth with her parents on their 22-acre property, where she fell in love with everything related to nature.
Being a self-taught artist with no formal training, she honed her artistic talents with the support of her family and friends. Bonnie works in various art mediums, including digital art, polymer clay, pen and ink, and acrylic paint, but watercolor painting is her foremost passion.
Bonnie takes pleasure in creating artwork featuring plants, birds, and insects, but she also enjoys crafting colorful and whimsical pieces infused with humor. She sells her artwork privately, through social media, and participates in art and craft fairs around the Cape.
