Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Thursday, April 18, from 6-8pm. Once a month, on a Thursday is Figure Night featuring a clothed or nude model for artists to draw or paint. The regular practice of drawing and painting the figure is the best way for an artist to improve their skills of observation. The human figure is challenging but the practice of life drawing and painting provides a clear path for further learning and knowledge, as the desire to express what we see in the human form better inspires us to keep going. Sessions will start with a few short poses to warm up and move to a long pose for an hour and a half. $25(includes model fee). Register at www.cultural-center.org or call 508-394-7100. The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
