As a part of the summer puppetry series in Woods Hole Dream Tale Puppets presents this upbeat, tender story about a family of imaginary “twig” people for children 3 years old and older and their families.
The twig family lives in harmony with nature. The Oak Tree provides them with everything they need to live and be happy. It is their home; they grind the acorns into dough for bread, they collect rainwater to drink and the leaves give them oxygen for fresh air—AND it’s a fun place to live! What a surprise when they receive a visit from a very nervous “cousin Lawn,” who is determined that they should leave their home!
Deborah is an artist, author, naturalist, and nationally recognized professional puppeteer who has been performing throughout New England since 1974.
The presentation is the second one in this summer puppetry series in Woods Hole. The following will be presented:
Alice, or the Red King’s Dream by Dream Tale Puppets on Tuesday, August 8th,
Jack and the Beanstalk by Dream Tale Puppets on Tuesday, August 15th.
The series is possible thanks to the support from the co-presenter John Wesley United Methodist Church and the grant from Woods Hole Foundation.
