Presented by Cape Cod Writers Center at The Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis

This year’s conference features 28 courses, mentoring sessions, a keynote luncheon, and student readings. The courses include mystery writing, selling more books on Amazon, nonfiction, memoir writing, the importance of place, writing for children, poetry, the art of storytelling, screenwriting, queries that kill, boosting your creativity, writing for young adults, an agents’ panel, and more. You will also find that since our conference classes are moderately sized, you will receive in more personal attention from your instructor than at other conferences.

The 2023 faculty includes award-winning novelist Margaret McMullan; acclaimed memoir writer and novelist Vanessa Matir; prominent storyteller Jamie Brickhouse; best-selling mystery author David Farrow; developmental editor Jacquelin Cangro; poetry editor Nathan McClain; picture book author Jeanette Bradley; renowned editor Michael Flynn; branding expert Judith Swankoski; award-winning nonfiction author Stephanie Schorow; editorial expert Diane O’ Connell and filmmaker Jeremy Wechter. Agents in attendance are Alicia Brooks of the Jean V. Naggar Agency, Jacqueline Flynn of the Joelle Delbourgo Associates, and Maggie Cooper of Aevitas Creative.

Admission Info

Registration for members is free, $80 for nonmembers. Three-session courses cost $170; two-session courses are $130 and a one-time course is $75.
