Photographing Your Work
Corrinn Jusell
Sunday, March 26, 1pm-4pm
Thanks to a generous grant from The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, this workshop will be offered at a subsidized rate of $40.
Are you looking to up your game when it comes to presenting your work? Whether you are posting on social media, or submitting work to juried shows and publications, high quality, professional looking photos make your work stand out from the crowd, and are an art form themselves. Corrinn will show you simple, easy to follow strategies to get great looking photos with your Iphone or Ipad (Series 8 and above, please).
Corrinn will begin with basic information on exposure, composition, light types, angles and editing, how to deal with shiny glazes, and then will show you how to photograph your work using both daylight and simple backdrops, as well as a photo booth. She will then show you step by step how to edit your pictures in the Iphoto app, and will touch on Photoshop for those that want to take their knowledge a step further.
Each participant should bring 2 pieces of work to photograph. Everyone will leave with at least one piece photographed and edited, and may get the second one done depending on time.
