Join fellow wine enthusiasts on a journey of the senses as you learn dozens of tips and tools to “de-mystify” the world of wine. This course is offered specifically to the wine beginner…no prior knowledge of wine is required, and participants will depart with a new sense of confidence in selecting, purchasing, tasting, and “talking” wine. Some of the subjects covered include: the wine language, reading a wine label, corks and corkscrews, bottles and wine glasses, pairing wine with food, storing wine, and a step-by-step demonstration in sniffing, swirling, sipping, and savoring! Our final afternoon of class will include the tasting of five wines. An informal, enjoyable, and informative introduction to this most delectable beverage!
