Boston local Grain Thief is known for its progressive bluegrass performed with just the band, acoustic instruments, and a microphone. They have had releases such as Animal (EP, 2015), Gasoline (2020), Stardust Lodge (2018), and their newest Something Sour, Something Sweet. Grain Thief toured the U.S., gracing the stages of Greyfox Bluegrass Festival, Hempfest, Podunk Bluegrass Festival, and Rockygrass. Features Patrick Mulroy on guitar, vocals; Zach Meyer on mandolin, vocals; Michael Harmon on bass, vocals; Tom Farrell on resonator guitar; and Alex Barstow on fiddle.
