A Victorian House Tour

The Captain Bangs Hallet House in Yarmouth Port will be open for its first Christmas-themed tour Dec. 8-10. Each room in the Victorian era sea captain’s home will be lavishly decorated to reflect a holiday story, such as the “Nutcracker Suite,” “A Christmas Carol,” “The Night Before Christmas” and “Scrooge.”

The hours are 1-4 p.m. on Dec. 8 and 10 and 5-7 p.m. on Dec. 9. Cost is $10 for members of sponsor, the Historical Society of Old Yarmouth, and $15 for nonmembers. Children under 16 are free. The Bangs Hallet House is on the Yarmouth Port Common off Route 6A.

Reservations are not necessary but if you may sign up to become a member on the society website, hsoy.org, and pay the reduced rate for the tour. Tickets also will be sold at the door.
