The Outer Cape Chorale presents "Songs to Light the Way"

Presented by The Outer Cape Chorale at Provincetown Town Hall

In the dark season of winter, the Outer Cape Chorale under the direction of Allison Beavan will present a concert of beautiful choral pieces to help inspire and light our way in the world. Frostiana:, written by Randall Thompson, is a delightful collection of 7 poems by Robert Frost that was commissioned in 1958 for the two-hundredth anniversary of the incorporation of the town of Amherst, Massachusetts. Voicings alternate between full choir, soprano/alto choir and tenor/bass choir. These variations create unusual vocal colors and are sure to delight! Audiences will also enjoy meaningful and fun songs that speak to the season’s holidays!
Accompanying the Chorale are piano, clarinet, violin, viola, and cello. We are once again thrilled to have Arthur McManus on the piano!
