Celebrating Prince spaghetti with a dinner inspired by the beloved pasta brand.
Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Wednesday, December 7th from 6-8pm.
The story of one of America's most beloved pasta brands was born in 1912 when three immigrants from the same village in Sicily, Italy, started a small spaghetti manufacturing company in Boston's North End. The address of their storefront: 92 Prince Street. Tonight we will start with angel hair pasta with smoked salmon, capers, dill, and lemon, then saffron pasta with veal polpette (Tuscan veal meatballs with pine nuts and golden raisins), chestnut pasta with a rabbit and root vegetable ragout, and finish with fried pasta shells filled with ricotta, chocolate and candied citrus peels. BYOB with favorite Italian whites and reds suggested.
This meal will take place in the Creative Arts Space and complimentary Chianti in Fiasco will be served. $75/$65 for members. Register at www.cultural-center.org or call 508-394-7100. The Cultural Center is located at 307 Old Main Street in South Yarmouth.
