Photographs have always been an important part of Penny Foster’s my life. In 1968, a graduation trip to Europe opened her eyes to the world and gave her an entirely new focus for her photography. After retiring from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) in 2010, she visited Scotland for the first time and the beautiful, historic country immediately has since inspired annual visits.
