Explore and have fun learning this simple, five movement approach to traditional Tai Chi. These classes are carefully developed to improve the quality of life for people of all ages and physical conditions. Tai Chi Easy™ can be practiced seated or standing. The slow and gentle mindful movements can aid in stress reduction, better balance, and mental focus.

Participants will take away a healthful practice to incorporate at home.

Wear comfortable clothing * No previous Tai Chi experience necessary

About the instructor:

Barbara Young recently retired as a middle school health teacher after 27 years and now resides in Eastham, MA with her husband and two dogs, Maggie and Peaches. She completed her Tai Chi Easy™ Practice Leader training in 2008 with Dr. Roger Jahnke, OMD. For more information, go to www.taichieasy.org

Barbara incorporates a variety of self-care practices in her classes to stimulate and enhance the body’s energy (chi) to aid in the healing process. She is a two-time cancer “thriver” who believes in the power of Tai Chi Easy™ as a “meditation in motion” in support of one’s mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
