West Falmouth Library presents a photo lecture by historian Joseph Yukna of the Cape Cod Military Museum on Thursday, October 27th at 6:30pm, on “Cape Cod: The Cradle of Invasion."

This lecture tells the 80-year old story of how Cape Cod became the center for invasion training for the US Army. The Engineer Amphibious Command and the Amphibious Training Command were headquartered on Washburn Island in Waquoit. Donations accepted.
