Celebrating its sixth year in Sandwich Village, Sandwich Arts Alliance PorchFest ‘22 promises to live up to its reputation of being a free, family-friendly event featuring twenty musical acts presented on ten porches for attendees to enjoy during this fun filled September afternoon.

The Sandwich Arts Alliance PorchFest takes place in the heart of Sandwich Village on Saturday, September 17th from 1 to 4 pm with a rain date of Sunday, September 18th. This flagship event was founded by singer-songwriter and SAA member Kim Moberg.

The Sandwich Arts Alliance PorchFest has grown into a traditional family-friendly destination event thanks to the residents and visitors who return every year!”

Folks from the Cape community and beyond have embraced the event year after year to watch musicians perform on residential, local business and church “porches” throughout an easy walking route along Main, Jarves and Summer

Streets in scenic and historic Sandwich Village.

The performers are local artists of various ages and genres from Americana, folk, singer-songwriter and rock to classical, jazz and traditional Irish music.

Attendees of the event will be given maps outlining the Sandwich Arts Alliance PorchFest route with details showing the location where each musician is performing, allowing the public to stroll from porch to porch at their own pace and experience an array of live music styles throughout the afternoon. There will be plenty of free parking throughout the village.

Typically all acoustic, Porchfests are held annually across the US and Canada on front porches. Local communities who celebrate Porchfest include Wellfleet, Falmouth, Quincy and Reading, MA, although Ithaca, New York has been credited with launching the first official Porchfest in 2007.
