This class is for children ages 7 and up. Join Julian Loida, percussionist, composer, and Head of Music at the Cultural Center, in a one-day introduction to hand drumming. In this fun, engaging, and interactive setting, participants will explore rhythms of the world and experience for themselves the benefits of drumming, including motor skill development, increased coordination, and lowered levels of stress and anxiety. All levels are welcome. Participants are asked to bring their own percussion instruments. There are a limited number at the Center, which will be first come, first serve. Please give us a call if you would like to utilize one for the workshop.

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
