Stride Pianist Judy Carmichael Performs at the Simon Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, October 1st.

Falmouth Jazz welcomes Grammy nominated pianist, vocalist and author Judy Carmichael to The Simon Center for the Performing Arts at Falmouth Academy, Saturday, October 1st at 7p.m.

Ms. Carmichael has performed on radio and TV and presented private recitals for everyone from Rod Stewart, Richard Gere and Robert Redford to President Clinton and Gianna Agnelli.  Ms. Carmichael’s vocal debut “Come and Get It” (2008) features her singing debut on everything from Peggy Lee inspired standards to humorous takes on Fats Waller tunes. Her first all-vocal CD “I Love Being Here With You” (2013) followed This CD is also her first with someone else playing piano, in this case the late Mike Renzi, with Harry Allen on sax and Jay Leonhart on bass.  Ms. Carmichael’s CD, Can You Love Once More (2016), once again features Falmouth Jazz favorites Mike Renzi and Harry Allen.
