Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History presents Nature Imprints, original prints by artist Leslie Kramer, September 6 – December 30, 2022 during Museum hours.
Leslie Kramer is an artist who makes original prints inspired by nature, the landscape of her travels, stone structures, and letterforms of many alphabets. Her depiction of nature utilizes sophisticated printmaking techniques including etching, block printing, collagraph,
mono-printing, and chine colle, often used in combination.
Leslie studied printmaking in Paris with the renowned artist, Stanley Hayter. For 26 years she taught Printmaking at Elmira College and her work has been shown in national and international exhibitions.
Locally, Leslie has exhibited at The Cape Cod Museum of Art, The Art Complex Museum, PAAM, Cotuit Center for the Arts, and the Cultural Center among others. Her work is in the collection of the Boston Public Library, the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA, the Albuquerque Public Library, and numerous private collections.
