Inside the Pages Author Series: Lindsey Palmer & Nicola Kraus

Presented by Wellfleet Preservation Hall at Wellfleet Preservation Hall

Writer, educator, and Eastham resident Lindsey Palmer joins us to celebrate the launch of her newest novel, Reservations for Six. An entertaining and insightful page-turner about modern marriage and a tight-knit group of friends navigating their 30s and beyond, Reservations for Six follows three couples in western Massachusetts over the course of a year navigating the trials and tests of marriage. Palmer will read from the novel and be joined in conversation by Nicola Kraus, bestselling author of The Nanny Diaries and other novels, and co-founder of the creative consulting firm The Finished Thought.

About Reservations for Six
The novel "reveals the challenges of marriage as well as the rewards, and offers a shrewd but affectionate portrayal of marriage in middle age" (Publishers Weekly); it offers "a realistic portrayal of couples facing emotional crisis" (Kirkus Reviews). We invite you to “pull up a chair and watch the drama unfold as these six friends manage the roller coaster of midlife” (Library Journal). Through a series of crises that push their relationships to the brink, Palmer's messy, acutely observed characters explore the phase of marriage when the fabric has started to fray, and reveal how couples cope, grow, and eventually thrive—together or apart.
