Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Thursday, July 28, from 1-3pm. This free 2-hour introductory workshop will provide participants an introduction to the tools, materials, and techniques Ellen employs in creating her wood-burned pieces.
The session will include both demonstration and explanation, as well as a hands-on opportunity to apply the skills you are learning utilizing the new wood burning equipment and facilities at the Cultural Center. Come and join in the fun of this free session and help us christen the latest addition to our makerspace studio. Ellen Adamson has over 35 years of woodburning experience, and her work has appeared in many regional exhibits. Ellen enjoys combining folk art elements with traditional techniques to create her designs, which incorporate strong, graphic elements and color.
