We are in lavender season now, the perfect time to harvest your plants. In this class you will learn about the history of these beautiful aromatic plants and how they are used in the present time. Lavender can be used in many different forms to help promote relaxation. In class we will explore different ways that you can enjoy your lavender.
The instructor will take you through the steps from harvesting to making your very own personal lavender sachets. All materials are included.
Dianne Voikos has been working with lavender for many years in her massage practice and would love to teach you how you can create your own little oasis. Did you know in some hospitals they are diffusing the essential oil to help create a relaxing environment? Lavender smells so good!!

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
