Whether you are a beginner or an experienced artist who wants to brush up on your drawing skills, this will be a fun and relaxing day-long event. Using just markers and charcoal on newsprint, students will draw big, loose and free from still life arrangements without caring about the outcome!
The goal will be to improve the skills of seeing and expressing through blind and modified contour, gesture, and modeling exercises. You will be taught key concepts of composition, measuring, line, shape, value, form, texture, and space. Bring a bag lunch for our midday critique and discussion!

The Center's main parking lot is at the rear of the campus off Union Street, with overflow parking in the town lot on the corner of Old Main and Union Street or down Mill Street. The accessible parking spaces are near the accessible ramp entrance at the rear of the campus.
