In honor of National Trails Day on June 4, Barnstable Land Trust (BLT) is celebrating all weekend long with special trail-themed events including a talk at the historic 1717 Meetinghouse, a Lady Slipper walk, and a 7-village charity bike ride.
Friday June 3 @ 7 pm: Barnstable Land Trust: Honoring Our Past, Protecting Our Future

Coinciding with the printing of its’ new Cape Cod Pathways Trail Map, Janet Milkman, BLT’s Executive Director, will be presenting a program about the historic roots and future of local land conservation in Barnstable. Join Barnstable Land Trust during the Town of Barnstable’s LAPC Spring Walking Weekend on this fun and informative walk with noted ecologist Gil Newton in a search for lady slippers, a showy wildflower belonging to the orchid family. Sunday June 5 @ 9 am: Tour de Barnstable Charity Bike Ride
A nonprofit charity bike ride
Barnstable, MA
