Coinciding with the printing of its’ new Cape Cod Pathways Trail Map, Janet Milkman, BLT’s Executive Director, will be presenting a program about the historic roots and future of local land conservation in Barnstable.  Held in one of the oldest standing public buildings on Cape Cod, this event is open to the public and free of charge. Join Barnstable Land Trust during the Town of Barnstable’s LAPC Spring Walking Weekend on this fun and informative walk with noted ecologist Gil Newton in a search for lady slippers, a showy wildflower belonging to the orchid family. A nonprofit charity bike ride
