Join us as local actors bring to life 2 short plays that explore the themes of mindfulness and being in nature.
This 90 minute event includes two short plays, a brief guided meditation between them, and an opportunity to talk with the actors after the show and reflect upon the experience.
Knock Knock, a short play by Karen McGarr tells the story of a distracted woman who finds serenity through mindfulness meditation.
Conversations at Walden, a short play by Pete Cormier follows a hiker through Walden Woods as she settles into the space where Henry David Thoreau, an early mindfulness practitioner found peace within the present moment.
Alyssa Davis will lead a brief guided meditation between the plays.
