Mindfulness Arts Festival

Mindfulness Arts Festival

Presented by The Awareness Project at Cultural Center of Cape Cod

The Mindfulness Arts Festival brings together artists, mindfulness practitioners and holistic health and wellness vendors for a day of mindful experiences. Three short plays by local playwrights have been commissioned specifically for this event including Knock Knock, in which mindfulness becomes a form of therapy, Conversations at Walden, during which a visitor to Thoreau's cabin has a spiritual experience, and Deliberately, where audience members will be accompanied by spirits on a mindful walk.  Performances will be staged twice at 11am and 1:30pm.

Attendees can also sample a brief meditation sit or take in a mindful movement session. Artist, author and healer Suzanne Faith will present The Magic of Flowers. Short films will be shown and a group of vendors will showcase their services including Holistic Soul Studio, Tori Lynn Coaching and Wellness Together, LLC...A Path to Healthy Aging.

This event is supported by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency and the Cultural Center of Cape Cod.
