April 14-May 21 an exhibit of art will be on view at Woodruff’s Art Center in Mashpee Commons. A meet-the-artist opening reception takes place on Thursday April 14th from 5-6:30; the event is free and open to the public

FIGMENTS OF THE IMAGINATION features paintings as well as photography, drawings, digital and three-dimensional art. Thirteen artists are participating resulting in an eclectic presentation of styles. Figments of the Imagination, the title/theme of the show served to prompt the artists to venture out in new directions. Moving away from the representational, this show puts the viewer in uncharted territory squarely inside the minds of the artists. Sometimes funny, sometimes strange and undoubtedly beautiful this is not one to miss. 

The exhibitors are Catherine Cetta, Betsy Payne Cook, Daniel Crowley, Joseph Fattori, Chris O’Dell Ferguson, Carol Flax, Chad Haynes, Ric Haynes, Gunjan Laborde, Kevin Ledwell, Jessie Nickerson, Amy Rice and Candice Ronesi.
