Cape Cod Chorale presents “Celebration! Singing the 70s and 80s”, on Saturday, April 23 at 7pm and Sunday, April 24 at 4pm at First Church Sandwich, at 136 Main St., Sandwich. The chorus is conducted by Artistic Director Danica A. Buckley, accompanied by CCC pianist Cathy Bonnett, and joined by Michael Dunford, Drums, Rod McCaulley, Bass, and Gregg Sullivan, Guitar.

“I planned an uplifting, joyful program, just pure fun, for our Chorale to come back dancing out of the pandemic. Disco attire is welcome, and we know you will want to sing along on Celebration and YMCA, and more. We won’t be in tuxedos and dresses; we’ll be in our avocado and orange best, or sparkly ABBA shirts; a great variety of costume will contribute to the atmosphere. The chorus is having such fun rehearsing and we can’t wait until the concert to share our joy with you!”, says Buckley.

The concert program celebrates dance music of the 70s and 80s, on popular songs by ABBA (the biggest theme of the concert), Billy Joel, Kool and the Gang, The Village People, Captain and Tennille, Carole King, James Taylor, and more.

Tickets for “Celebration!” are $20 general admission; ages 18 and under are admitted for free. Tickets can be purchased from CCC members, at the door, or advance online on our website, www.capecodchorale.org.
