Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Sunday, July 10, at 3pm. Rhode Island based jazz vocalist, Tish Adams has a passion for the music of the iconic, Edward Kennedy Ellington. He ranks high on her list of favorite composers. His tunes are generously scattered throughout her repertoire and are often requested during her Live Shows. For this performance Adams will share the stage with talented pianist, Tim Ray, in their very first musical collaboration. Ray is best known as Tony Bennett’s current pianist and musical director. He has wide-ranging skills as a soloist and accompanist have afforded him the opportunity to perform with legendary performers from all walks of music. These two jazz explorers will share their musical journey, guiding you through a small sampling of Duke Ellington’s vast body of work, to offer you a most memorable afternoon.
