Krisanthi Pappas, Classic Soft Rock Band

Presented by Cultural Center of Cape Cod at Cultural Center of Cape Cod

Presented by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod on Saturday, July 2, at 7:30pm. Celebrate 4th of July weekend by rocking out to the music of American women pioneers of classic soft rock! Join Billboard® award winning singer/songwriter Krisanthi Pappas and her band playing the soft-rock hits of Carole King, Carly Simon, Karen Carpenter and Linda Ronstadt! Featuring such favorites as I Feel The Earth Move, So Far Away, Nobody Does It Better, You’re So Vain, We’ve Only Just Begun, Close To You, It’s So Easy, Blue Bayou and so many more! All Music Guide has compared Krisanthi’s voice to Karen Carpenter, and her songwriting style to Carole King. With Krisanthi on piano and vocals, accompanied by her equally accomplished band of Steve Skop on bass, Steve Forrest on guitar and John DiSanto on drums, their show displays the warm soft rock sound of the 70’s and fills the room with nostalgic appeal.  This show has sold out theaters throughout New England! Krisanthi has performed throughout the U.S., Caribbean and parts of Europe and has performed the Xfinity Center pre-shows for Sheryl Crow, Heart, Queen with Adam Lambert, The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, Chicago, Squeeze, REO Speedwagon and Steely Dan. She has released seven CDs which have received high acclaim from Downbeat Magazine, The Boston Globe, Cabaret Scenes New York, Jazz Magazine Italy, and national airplay on Pandora Radio, Apple Music, Spotify and more.
