The tradition of celebration through song is most poignant during the Holiday season.
Join us at Preservation Hall for an evening of Holiday songs selected from the musical theatre and pop canon. Enjoy both classic songbook tunes as well as some unexpected new favorites as we appreciate our Cape Cod community.
About Ella Mae Dixon:
Ella Mae Dixon is a cabaret performer, singer, and actor.
Ella Mae recently made her New York City debut at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club. She
received a glowing review from the Bistro Awards of New York, who wrote: “incredibly proficient technically, her voice had a cut-through timbre and she worked through the song with deft phrasing and an authoritative handle on the tempo.”
Ella Mae is a student of The Juilliard School’s Extension Division with a focus on classical voice.
She makes regular appearances at the Birdland Jazz Club in Jim Caruso’s award winning
variety show Cast Party. Prior to relocating to New York, she was a Massachusetts State Finalist in the English Speaking Union’s National Shakespeare Monologue Competition.
