Don’t miss your chance to enjoy an evening of blues performed by the Chris Fitz Band, featuring organist Ken Clark. The band is also known to infuse their blues style with a mix of swing, jump, Chicago and Texas blues styles with a healthy dose of funk, soul, rock-n-roll, and a touch of British Blues Rock. The Chris Fitz Band has received more than a dozen music awards including Boston Music Award in 2001 for "Outstanding New Blues Act," multiple "Outstanding Blues Guitarist and Entertainer” awards, and a 2005 Boston Blues Challenge Winners Award. The band has toured for the past 23 years, from New England to Memphis, to Europe. It's a thunderous band with grooves that pay homage to all areas of American Roots Music. With Chris as lead singer/songwriter/guitar player, Mike Aiello on drums, "Fretless Dave Kendarian" on bass, and other players, including the Hammond B3 Organ Phenom Ken Clark. Until further notice, ticket holders for Cultural Center events will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test conducted within 72 hours prior to the event.
