The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents Introduction to Mushrooming with Wild Foods Foraging Guide, Rachel Goclawski Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 11:30am.
Mushrooming can be a fun and safe hobby if you know the guidelines. Rachel will get you started on your mushrooming journey with an interactive visual presentation, followed by a walk on the Museum trail to find some beginner and novice-level mushrooms! Wear good walking footwear, insect repellent, and bring a cloth or paper bag or basket for collection, and a pocket knife or shears.
Rachel Goclawski is a Massachusetts Certified Educator, Programming Partner with the Sudbury Valley Trustees, Girl Scouts of Eastern MA and is the Resident Naturalist at Waters Farm Preservation in Sutton. Rachel is a Contributing Writer for the Cook's Cook Magazine and for her "day job," she is an IT Specialist for the Dept. of Defense.
