'Art for Good'

On Saturday 10am to 4pm, September 4th of the Labor Day Weekend, Art-in-the-Park will hold a special ‘Art for Good’ fund-raiser. Members of The Guild exhibit and sell original artwork in a wide range of artistic styles and mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolor. This year offerings have been expanded to include prints, fine arts & crafts. Designated ‘red dot’ artworks from our 70-member Guild will be available at reduced prices. A portion of the sales this day will benefit a local charity. Music will be performed from 2-4pm by the Sound Dunes Combo, a local eight-piece band. This is a great end of the season opportunity to pick up a keepsake from Cape Cod.

The Guild’s Art Gallery at 551 Main Street in the center of Harwich Port is an easy walk from Doane Park. The Guild’s Art Gallery is open daily, 11am-4pm, with extended hours during Wednesday’s Harwich Port Strolls. The Art Gallery represents subjects and styles that vary with each of the twenty-four member artists with many choosing local scenes to paint.
