The Meetinghouse Clay Center, in collaboration with the North Falmouth Village Association (NFVA), will offer a two-session Fairy House Workshop, and the completed houses will be added to the NFVA art installation between 248 – 262 Old Main Road.
The Meetinghouse Clay Center, in collaboration with the North Falmouth Village Association (NFVA), will offer a two-session Fairy House Workshop on August 8 and August 22 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Both sessions will take place at the Clay Center, located at 1340 County Road in Cataumet, and the completed houses will be added to the NFVA’s Fairy House art installation between 248 – 262 Old Main Road in North Falmouth.
The first workshop will focus on the slab construction of a fairy house and the addition of woodland creatures. The second will be devoted to decorating and glazing techniques. A suggested $10 donation would be appreciated to cover materials and kiln firings. Anyone 12 or older can participate, but space is limited to 10 students.
Free Event. A suggested donation of $10, to cover costs would be appreciated, but is not required.
