Harwich Port Art-in-the-Park

Presented by Guild of Harwich Artists at Doane Park, Harwich Port MA 02646

Reimagined Art-in-the-Park 2021 – Harwich Port, MA

The Guild of Harwich Artists has reimagined their 40-year tradition of ‘Art-in-the-Park’ held each Monday 10am to 5pm in Doane Park, Harwich Port.  Members of The Guild exhibit and sell original artwork in a wide range of artistic styles and mediums including oils, acrylics, pastels, and watercolor. This year offerings have been expanded to include prints, fine arts & crafts.  Starting Monday July 5, the season will run through August 30 and September 13, 10 am to 5pm, weather permitting. Local musicians will play in the park afternoons. Featured local musicians are Jerry Doherty and the eight-piece Sound Dunes Combo. Come meet our artists, enjoy the many art and craft offerings. Ample parking in the adjacent Post Office Square.

On Saturday 10am to 4pm, September 4th of the Labor Day Weekend, Art-in-the-Park will hold a special ‘Art for Good’ fund-raiser for a local charity. Designated ‘red dot’ artworks from our 70-member Guild will be available at reduced prices. A portion of the sales this day will benefit a local charity. This is a great end of the season opportunity to pick up a keepsake from Cape Cod.

The Guild’s Art Gallery at 551 Main Street in the center of Harwich Port is an easy walk from Doane Park. The Guild’s Art Gallery is open daily, 11am-4pm, with extended hours during Wednesday’s Harwich Port Strolls. The Art Gallery represents subjects and styles that vary with each of the twenty-four member artists with many choosing local scenes to paint.
